How to add your menu to Google (Business Profile menu link)

Step by step: add a menu link to your restaurant's Google Business Profile so people see your dishes on Google Search and Maps, plus tips to keep it accurate.

When someone searches for your restaurant, or for "tacos near me", Google shows your Business Profile: photos, hours, reviews and, if you add it, a link to your menu. It's one of the easiest ways to turn a search into a visit, and it takes two minutes.

Before you start

You need:

  • A verified Google Business Profile for your restaurant. If you haven't claimed yours yet, start at business.google.com.
  • A menu link that never changes. Use a live menu page rather than a PDF, so you can update prices without touching Google again. With spotmymenu, it's the same link your QR code opens.

Add your menu link, step by step

  1. Sign in to the Google account that manages your restaurant.
  2. Search Google for your restaurant's name, or open Google Maps. Your profile editor appears at the top.
  3. Select Edit profile, then Business information.
  4. Open the Contact section and find Menu link.
  5. Paste your menu link and select Save.

Changes can take a while to appear, sometimes a few days, while Google reviews them. The exact labels can vary a little between the phone app and a computer; Google's menu editor help page has the current details.

Link or menu editor?

Google also has a menu editor where you type dishes and prices directly into your profile. It can give your items more visibility, but you then have two menus to keep in sync. Many restaurants do both: the menu link for the full, always-current menu with photos, and a handful of signature dishes in the editor.

Put the same link everywhere

The more places your menu link appears, the easier you are to choose:

  • Instagram and TikTok bio
  • Facebook page (the menu or "View menu" button)
  • WhatsApp Business profile and quick replies
  • Your website navigation
  • Delivery and reservation profiles that allow a menu link

Keep it accurate

Google shows guests what you give it. If a price on Google doesn't match the price at the table, that's a bad start, and sometimes a bad review. A live menu you update from your phone keeps every one of these links current at once.
